Colloquium Musicum: New Songs for Soprano and Jazz Trio

Dr. Christina R. Haldane discusses the creative process behind an exploratory project that fuses Western art music and jazz aesthetics. The project, funded by an internal SSHRC Explore grant, features new arrangements by Ross MacIntyre of “Tu la mia stella” from Giulio Cesare by G. F. Handel, “An die Musik” by F.
